I believe God gave us a book, specifically the Bible and the book of Proverbs, to serve as a guide and a tool to give us wisdom and insights in how to live our lives every day to honor him. In great times of joy and happiness, as well as times of grief and sorrow, the book of Proverbs helps us navigate thru uncharted waters with confidence and courage knowing that we have a guide who can give us directions and warnings as we walk the walk of life."

Most people grow up believing that one day they will be great and do great things. Ask any little kid what they want to do when they grow up and I guarantee they won't say, "I want to be ordinary" or “I want to be average.”  No ....most little children have within them a seed of greatness to be "extraordinary."

But somehow over time, our dreams get dashed and we slip into commonplace and forget about the dreams and goals we once had. I tend to agree with Ralph Waldo Emerson who said, “Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them.”

I want each reader of this book to be inspired to believe that each and every one of us is born with a goal to be more than ordinary; that if you're one of the 8 billion people alive, you have been created to not lead lives of quiet desperation, but to lead lives of extraordinary greatness.

“Open your eyes, look within. Are you satisfied with the life you’re living?” —Bob Marley
